To access VDI from home you will want to download the VMware Horizon Client for Windows from here –

When it has finished downloading, run the installer.
On the User Account Control dialog box click Yes to allow the following program to make changes to the computer and the VMware Horizon Client Setup will launch.
Click Next.
Check the box to accept the terms in the License Agreement and click Next.
Leave IPv4 selected and click Next.
Click Next.
Change the Default Horizon Connection Server to horizon.grangerconstruction.com and click Next.
Make sure only “Show in Options menu” is checked.
Make sure both boxes are checked then click Next.
Click Install.
Click Finish.
Click Yes to restart the computer.
Once you restart the computer and login you will have an icon on the desktop called VMware Horizon Client.
Double left click the connection server –
Double left click the desktop pool you have entitlement to.
